Experimental Physicist or Engineer (m/f)
You help test, characterize, and optimize our tracking systems. Therefore, you design, carry out and evaluate laboratory experiments. You will convert these directly into the construction and testing of prototypes.
We expect:
- a university degree in physics, physical engineering or related fields
- good programming skills in C/C++
- experience in data analysis e.g. with Matlab and scripting languages (like Perl or Python, Bash)
- experience in designing experimental setups
You should have knowledge of some of the following areas (or explicit interest to become acquainted with):
- Optics
- CAD-Modelling, mechanical construction (esp. carbon fiber)
- Close-range photogrammetry, tracking systems
- Electronics
